Daoine Sidhe 12,5 year anniversary
During the yearly Daoine Sidhe party in Bunnik, it was suggested to do an extra party this year, around december to celebrate the clans existence of 12,5 years. At that time this was a very popular idea. Later on though, when the communication team brought a survey about this event, the people seemed less interested. A total of 10 people filled in the survey, and the special party is cancelled in full.
For the 10 people that did fill in the survey, there will be a special day in December. More information about this will follow in the privacy on e mailing.
Daoine sidhe goes msn
As some of you might know, Kouklien and Brollthul resigned from the WoW division for a period of time. Mainly due to real life reasons, we call it addiction to the game...
To still be in touch with their friends in DS, they started an msn group, which can be found on http://daoinesidhe.groups.live.com/ . Everybody from the DS is more than welcome to join this group. The main thing there is, is a nice multichat via msn *you need to have installed the latest Windows Live Messenger for this* to get to know people from outside your division.
we would like to applaud to Kouklien and Brollthul for this initiative. It is a well used thing at this moment, and we hope it will make the group we call DS to come closer together.
DS events: Midwinterfair in the Archeon ( alphen a/d Rijn)
2 times a year the Archeon opens its gates and let in all kind of elves, orcs, Romans, thieves etc on its terrain. By the name of the summer and the Midwinter fair. The fair is a nice one in Holland, due to the beautiful location, in and around Roman villas and prehistoric homes, you really feel the atmosphere of a friendly, relaxing and cold event. There is an indoor gothic and fantasy market, concerts (one of the big names is Rapalje) , fighting shows, demonstrations ( bodrhan, fireshow ) and a lot of Larp groups. DS will be present, promoting the role play group Aragnes. We set up our camp in the prehistoric age, behind the monastery. Feel free to walk in our camp, have a peek and a nice conversation. We will also do a quest 2 times a day you can join.

Travel information: from station Alphen a/d Rijn it is around a 15 minute walk, I do think they will have special busses. I do suggest if you can come by car, then do that. parking is free.
