DS party tours present: Bunnik party
Following a tradition that has been with us since the days before the holy bible, maybe even before Adam and Eve, the Bunnik party is back again. The gates of Hel(l)mer's house have been opened again, so are the doors over the ever so creepy basement. The date will be the weekend of the 4th of july. For the newcomers, usually we start around 12 or 1 o'clock with setting up the 3 party tents with components of half a dozen former party tents that died in their glory. Then it will be time for the chit chats, guitar heroes contests, quizzes, interviews of our raging reporters and a small meeting that always takes too long. Then we start with the main theme of the evening, getting on our knees thanking ray's parents. Somehow they still let us on their property without shooting at us (this only counts for the parents, NOT, we repeat NOT the grandfather and his shiny Winchester) as newcomers understand, this is the new DS test we are trying out, you have to answer some DS related questions, when wrong you will be shot at. Then the flaming of the bbq takes place, under the watchful eyes of our skilled JointFillah, armed with bbq sauce and 2 gallons of lamp oil we, like in our early days of mankind, make fire. after sacrificing one of Adder’s signed CDs, we start eating half warm/frozen food (Sylph: In my experience its actually closer to burnt, usually). For healthiness we throw in some salads, making you feel you will not die this event. Then the main fire starts, together with some nice games, chatting and sometimes even a bit of singing we spend the night under the stars, or for who wants to, there are some sleeping places (bring in your own sleeping stuff). In the morning we start with a nurturing breakfast of bread with tomato sauce or mayonnaise and some coffee. Then the shipment home starts again, till next year....

How to get there?:
by train, go to Utrecht CS and take the stop train to Rhenen, it goes every 30 minutes. the address is Grotelaan 4 in Bunnik.
Route from station (sorry Dutch):
Over het spoor naar rechts (groeneweg) deze weg blijven volgen. bij een speelveldje aan de rechterzijde ga je naar rechts met de weg mee. Na een paar honderd meter zie je links witte huisjes, deze straat ga je in. dan kom je na circa 100 meter op een kruising. Deze steek je recht over (koninging julianalaan. deze loop je uit. aan het einde staat een brug, deze steek je over en daarna ga je naar links (tolhuislaan). Deze weg loop je uit en na ongeveer 350 meter zie je rechts de grote laan (staat met aan 1 kant huizen, aan de andere kant een rivier) dan is het het grote witte huis.
