The Mystery of Tradition
On January the 4th, the Mystery of Tradition was held. Somewhat delayed, but.. lets just say we’ve done worse. The Mystery of Tradition is held every year and entails the following: Runes are awarded to DS members for their successful efforts in DS in that year. The speech that goes with it and the full list of runes awarded can be viewed here.
Some statistics:
For 2008, a grand total of 56 runes were awarded. Though this isn’t as much as 2007’s whopping 76 (notably, 2007 included a lot of runes that should’ve been included in the 2006 Mystery of Tradition), it’s still quite a catch.
UPDATE: The runes for the WoW division were delayed even more, but now finally awarded, which brings us to a total of 87 runes!
The award of most awarded rune goes to… Rune of Strength, with a whopping 26 times.

Rune of Death (for Travian work against the odds; as suggested by Rayendir)
Rune of Loyalty (for helping members; as suggested by Rayendir)
Rune of Devotion (for recruiting members; as suggested by Rayendir)
Rune of Life (for working out new ideas; as suggested by Rayendir)
Go figure the rest out yourself folks ;)
