Victory for Daoine Sidhe (Travian server 7)

Ad Sanctum,

Today Travian server 7 finally ended, after a long and exhausting battle for the final victory. And the news is good...


Daoine Sidhe's pact with alliance Emquis brought us the much desired victory, which is really the best result we could possibly have hoped for.

Over time DS proved to have a strong mentality, a firm and clever organisation in-game, and a smart diplomatic strategy. These components combined made DS last, kept members active and motivated, and now we can rightfully say that it all worked; worked very well.
Also we were able to build up much of the current activity at the DS site, a difficult task in itself. This job is not completed yet, but the fundaments are there and much promising.

Finally, I wish to thank all DS members at Travian server 7 who invested their time into getting DS this far. Especially I wish to thank Essio and Mariekje for their excellent work and perseverance.

This is a victory that we rightfully earned.

Travian divisions update

Change of language
Today it was decided that both Travian divisions will be using Dutch as their primary language, because both of them were created on Dutch servers.
This counts only for division specific forums, on other forums members are still expected to write English.
We hope that removal of the language barrier will make it easier for Travian members to become active on the DS site.

Forum use
Also, due to the strategic contents it was decided that the Travian forums will no longer be accessible for outsiders. As Travian involves a great deal of tactics and there is a tendency to "spy" among other alliances (guilds in Travian), the use of open forums tends to have a negative effect on in-game achievements.

Planning: after the reset of server 6
For the division on server 6 changes as described above will mean that in-game forums will be replaced by forums on the site. This will happen as soon as the server is reset (expected to take place in a week or something).
From then on the division at server 6 will have a similar structure like the one on server 7.
