Based on our recent progress on ulduar hard modes we decided again to try do mimiron so our beloved GM dorus could complete the quest so we could summon algalon and he could kick our asses for an hour every week

well, we went in to ulduar buffed up and ready to wipe and we managed to down mimiron hard mode on our second attempt Gj everyone on that one btw It was a nice kill and i think we were all surprised that it happened so soon

Emboldened by our success against mimiron with the place about to blow up we moved to Algalons room. And, im not gonna lie. He completely raped us
i must say it was a very fun fight and the graphics during it are the best ive seen in any boss fight. Im glad that we can finally summon him he did destroy us but the fight is definitly doable and i know some day we'll get the starcaller title

after our hour was up and algalon flew away to wherever he goes to we then moved on to give ToGC a go. Our last visit to togc was far from fruitful with us just earning repair bills. Im happy to report that we actually killed something this time

We started off against NR beasts. The fight is basically the same. They just hit harder and have more hp. and if your dps is too low the next round come to join the party. Let me say first off that that impale hits HARD. But we prevailed agaist gormokk, and the worms went down without much trouble. AS you all know once u get to ph3 its basically over, but we nearly lost it. Unrtunatly icehowl destroyed lut up against a wall. And dorus tried to go suicidle but kai was much quicker and thanks to him and his soft bubble we weathered the enrage and got some sexeh hc loots

We then moved onto lord jaraxxus. And this fight is not the joke it is on normal mode. Also we were without a dps dispeller so it fell to me and fiwa to dispell as healers.....
We wiped quite a bit due to unlucky chain lightnings with a buff the healers were too busy to dispell or the misstress of pain spiking ppl into fire but we eventually got him down

WE gave the faction champions one go and tho they wiped the floor with us they are killable.

This brings our ulduar progress to: Killed all except Vezax HM, Yogg HM and algalon.

and brought our ToGC progress from 0/5 to 2/5. I cant argue because i'm a pacifist.

our progress is 10 man, not 25 (as that is harder).

even on 25 man most guilds havent done any hardmodes
+ 10 man is more difficult in strategy (1 death can be a wipe, on 25 man 1 death is somewhat never a wipe) Nah 10 man is easier...
Damage is often MUCH higher in 25man and the mecahnics of fights are often more of a pain, and 1 dead in 10man isnt that hard to control... Whereas controlling 25 people in a HM is surely more difficult.

I would argue that with a well setup 25man you always have more buffs and more "tools" at your disposal. But none the less.

Plus imagine 25 people on vent, "Heal me... Heal me! HEAL MEH!!!" , to quote a certain GM...

Tho it is nice to hear we are indeed making good progress.
